Writing your own

What makes a good Claude video prompt.

  1. 01

Lead with the goal and the audience

“A 30-second launch film for developers” beats “a cool video”.

  2. 02

    Give real material

Your URL, three numbers, a customer quote. Claude builds the story around facts.

  3. 03

    Name the scenes you want

Kinetic type hook, product tour, stats, logo wall, call to action.

  4. 04

    Describe the motion in words

“Punchy, cut on the beat, whip transitions” or “calm, lots of air”.

  5. 05

    Set format and length

16:9, 9:16 or 1:1, and a duration. Short is almost always better.
